Hey guys, new to the forum and to crawling. Here is my recent body work. It is sitting on a home-made chassis by Rottenbelly - still pretty much the same. I did have to add about an inch more wheel base to the rear and a half to the front to make the wheel wells fit. The lights took forever and my fingers are still hurting - but I am pretty happy with the outcome. It looks pretty sweet with 1.9" wheels too - I am stewing on a dually plan . the interior is the Proline and painted light sand. mirrors, wipers and steering wheel are from an axial kit - as with the gun rack. The driver is not present - as she is taking the photos The chrome was painted on the outside, as I was not satisfied with the decal chrome. the light buckets were a pain, but I wanted to shine them through the decal for square lamps. The front bumper is from the Summit - I am thinking the two lights above the temporary fake winch should be yellow fog lamps. I am probably gonna paint the fender marker lights orange to tone them down and get them the same color as the roof lights. Using what I had, I have a mixture of Eflight and Tamiya UL1 lighting modules. The bumper lights are running off the ESC directly. ------------ photos here ---------------- Last edited by Jesse J; 12-31-2010 at 02:25 PM. Reason: added photobucket link |

That has got to be the best looking truck using the topkick body. It looks like you driver side tires are backwards. |
