Finally got back on this. Tubing is 98% done. Gonna run my WK axles for width and save the axials for something else. Like the way the 1.9 Spookys fit the buggy look. What do y'all think? Sorry for the pics. Gave my digital camera to the ex girlfriend. Doh!! Axial in front. WK in rear. Like the width better and no spacers that way. |

I'm gonna try and get the suspension set up over the weekend and get it outside. I have everything to finish it but I have to get a customers rig done first for the big Crawler Innovations comp and BBQ next weekend.

Got it sitting on its own now. Gonna machine new links now that i know what they need to be. Gonna run it droop. Added a little rear bumper. Did some quick styrene work to fill in the interior and found a scx electronics box laying around that fit nicely in the back. need to figure out the servo mount and got a couple more little touches to add and then it will be time to play. Love my 1.9 spooky crawlers Took a poser shot with MadMaXJ and dad's CJ-7 clone |

Added a light bar and mirrors. Made an aluminum roof panel. Drilling and tapping 0-80 sucks by the way. Sprayed the interior. Think thats it as far as welding stuff. The hood is bothering me. A LOT! It looks more and more like a Liberty front end and its bugging the heck out of me. Thinking about going aluminum but then i would probably need to do the rear out of aluminum, huh? And if i do that there is no more VERDE. Dios Mio!! What to do. Suggestions? |

Took the stock tool box looking Scx electronics box and decided it needed to be a fuel cell instead. Made a new smooth top out of styrene and smoothed out the bottom and took off the antenna tube mount. Still need to add the filler hose and add the tube mount to the cage for quick fill up. Also got the servo mounted and the last of the inner fender wells in. |
