Default Lil' Mountain Goat, Slackerman's 2.2 Hilux

So after doing some more work on my buddies rig i decided to dust off the 2.2 TSL's and create a Hilux, KOH/TTC Truggy. I get bored of my build fast, but this one i can tell is going to keep me busy for some time.

Specs ill post after i finish up the bottom of the chassis and connect the axles.

Lil Run down of my Direction, I have been wanting to do a KOH/TTC Truggy, so I hacked up my lil Hilux body i had so i could use it for panels on a full custom tube chassis. Create a WB of around 12-13"s. Run my 2.2's, and finally go one step further then i did on Tims rig. (Naturally i have to have a more bad-a$$ rig LOL)

Ill post more up later, here is the pics i have so far, Only got the upper mid to rear started today.

Here is what i had to start with.

It was sad to do at first but the end result will be worth it.

Made a Sub-frame so id have a base to go from.

Testing of Panels

Start of the cab

More Progress

The A$$ End

Here She is sitting Nice and Skinny.

Here she sits next to another Doved yota i had bought a while back, that started my into doing my own brazing work.

The other cab over my new rig

That's what i got done today. Hope you all Like it, Toss me Comments, Questions and feed back if you'd like.

More to come tomorrow.

Looks badass. I like the narrowed cab.

And the swampers really come to life when you cut them like that, they bite that hook dirt and jump you right up the rocks like a real swamper

Quick update.

Added bent links to the rear, and put the stock scx10 shocks on for a low sitting ride. Belly is a hair under 3"

More to come tonight.

Looking good slacker, could you post up some pictures of the way you mounted your upper links with the bent link rears. I have done it to mine and it works pretty good, but Iam always on the lookout of other ideas.( My uppers are shortened and remounted higher where the frame sweeps up in the rear). Thanks

So after today, the rigs is AWESOME on the rocks i didnt get a chance to get any video but i got a few pics from the day. The chassis held up great, i took a few really hard falls and tumbles. ended up bending a 30% bent link into a 80% bent link, but the chassis does not have one dent or bend
