| 2 clod bodies = 1 crewcab chevy
Ok i have started my newest project. I have lots of ideas for this build. Lets see if it comes out how i want it to. The only thing i'm having a problem with is leafs or four link. i like to make it real scale with leafs. but i'd like to make it to run in Nor- Cal comps. Hoping some day we will have a scale class. but i dont see that to soon other then trail runs. I got the paint remover today and some plastruct today to join the two halfs togehter. Once i get the front of the truck body clean. Heres a pic of what i'm started so far just cut the bodies in halfs its measures 13 inches right now " before joining the two halfs" |

Be prepared for a lot of work, otherwise, good luck with the build. Got any ideas for the spare front clip?

Got any ideas for the spare front clip?[/QUOTE] No not yet thought about making a blazer out of it like my 74 but the wheel base may be to short to run. not sure yet. |

that's a great idea, but don't let the tamiya purists see you doing that!! especially if it's original clod bodies that were supposed to be red!!!! but anyway, how whatcha gonna use to fill in the gaps in that doors?

Got some work done on the body on friday. I need to fill in the gaps by the doors and the roof. Then start on the cowl hood and fill in where the sunroofs were having a hard time deciding on a four link or a leaf spring setup it will be i little more competive with the four link but the leaf spring would be more scale. i going to use a emaxx trans and revo shafts the !st gear locks up with no play and i will still be able to use 2nd gear to. |

That would make a nice body for a Tow Rig.
