Default Boyer Poison Spyder

I just got this off another member here. I put CAC wheels, RC4WD Krazy Crawler tires and RC4WD T-rex aluminum axles on it. Going with a 35t Integy pro motor and Goat 3s esc.

Already done. The 1.9 looked dumb on there. One thing I noticed is that the lower links are mounted to the chassis horizontally and this seems to aid in the axles moving side to side. This might tone down once I put drive shafts in. If not, I will have to make some sway bars for the front and rear.

The skeletons are going. They look to small compared to the rest of the truck, they look like newborns are driving it.

Nice ride.

For the suspension links, you may be able to use some Tamiya shackle hangers to change the ends to a vertical position. It looks like there may be room to bolt them up inside the chassis, or braze em there. Just a thought.

Warwick, as in RI? I'm from Westerly. Let's see some high speed beach runs!

I fixed the side to side play with the axles. My top links didn't have enough of triangulation. I would of never thought of that until a buddy mentioned it to me. Always check the simple stuff first.

All I did was remove the 2 conical washers at the axle mounting points. It only moved the links inward about a 1/8 on each side. I cant believe it made that much of a difference.
