Default Kaiser M35

Well I have been gathering parts for this for awhile. Decided to start work on it today..

Plans are Tamiya 3speed running into axial Tranny for a T case to the axles with the Low ratio Gears in all three. The Rear springs will be custom. should be a pretty decent tow rig

I have scaled everything out to 1/9 scale. the tires are larger then stock but that is the look I am after.

Some pics.
Steering will be inline with the Leaf springs like the real rig, and it will be Behind that axle steering. I will make a custom arm for the High clearance knuckles to make this work.

Tires :bling: RC4wd Mil-Spec's Really nice

Right around 30" long. probably add a 1" or so to that if I add the front winch. Rims hopefully will be custom, I pm'ed Eritex when he gets all set back up hopefully he can do something for me.
This is the look I would like. Mil surplus beadlocks with rockwell spacing plates.

These tires are awesome and a huge multi axle rig should be super awesome When I get to body I plan on making the panels so it can be easily duplicated. I would mind a bobbed M35 running these tires to

side plates made up and mounted
\
starting to think of mounting the Tranny.. Pretty sure I will make up some mounts and lay it on its side.. Not so much worried about COG as space savings.. The cab is small I think I can fit more under the hood with it on the side.

A idea of the width with tires mounted on the axles. Tucks under the bed nicely

Upper link mount

Getting a idea of the size of this beast. The landcruiser fits in the bed with a little room to spare..
