Default 2.5 Ton Hilux Truggy

Well its been some time since I built anything and wanted to start a build. Im looking to build up a Hilux truggy similar to a TTC truck running military drivetrain. Heres some of the parts Ill be using:

Custom Steel Truggy Chassis (Mattzilla Custom)
Hilux Cab with Rear Cab Back
Blackwell Axles
Axial Trans
Punisher Shafts
2.2 CAC Wheels
2.2 Michelin XZL Tires
RC4WD Shocks
Novak Goat
Hitec 7955 Servo

Thanks guys for all the positive comments! So I just sprayed my chassis with some etching primer along with my body and I should have a coat of paint on both in about an hour.

Hey Blakeski for the color I sprayed on several coats of metallic blue with three coats of clear and some flat black paint for the chassis. I still have to epoxy my front grill, installe light buckets and lens and the windows. Let me know what you guys think of the color choice.

on a side note why epoxy the grill in??

Thanks Blakeski! Well I feel that the epoxy is alot stronger than say CA and I didn't feel like making little brackets for it! LOL!


So I installed my new tranny and Goat motor, now just trying to figure out whee to put the rest of the electronics.

nothing like a yota on deuce and a halfs i love the blackwells its just hard to spend that much on axles. but great job so far
