Some more pics of the chassis. I was not really sure what color to paint it, so I started with black primer. Final color is Cast Iron. I like this color as it's kinda neutral and it's a semi gloss. Next is the body. Leaning towards a nice blue pearl with white racing stripes. Kinda like an early Cobra. |

| Not quite yet. I've got an update tho. Decided on the body color and have been working out the link lengths. Some shots of the body. Sprayed, but with the film still on it. With the film removed. I love the colors, being a Ford guy and being that blue is my favorite color, this color scheme was a no brainer for me. In the sun. Sitting on the frame. Colors match pretty good I think, let me know what you think. More to come later today. |

Thanks for the complements! New update. Been working on getting the wheelbase setup and making the links. Running a 4 link in the rear and 3 link w/panhard bar up front. I think I've got it worked out. Wheelbase sits at 13.25 inches. Pretty pushed out for the MIP's, but it looks like it will work out. May have to cut the body some more. Pics. Working out the rear. The front and the rear together. I've had to extend the front out a bit more since those pics were taken, so more pics to come. I used RC4WD aluminum rod ends for all except the rear top links. Links are 8/32 except the third link in front and panhard bar. Those are 6/32. Forgot to mention, the gears in the trans are Robinson Racing metal parts with the output being one piece, just in case. Hope this thing runs good. |

Love the body colors, and how they go with Trenton's chassis. My 1:1 EB trail rig is a similar main color, but a little "weathered" now... |

Thanks Eric. Don't worry, you'll see it. Gotta get out with you guys at Kunia or Kaena point one time at least, you guys can PM me when you're going. I can't wait to see your jeep and DTP's bronco, those are some serious killer built rigs. I still need to learn to braze, but first I need to figure out a setup for it.

Your EB is coming along nicely. My wheelbase is 14" and the MIP's are fine.

Thanks guys. Gimp, you are an insperation and have had some pretty mean builds. I appreciate your comments. zach.skinner510, those are the Mayhem Spyders and those are the deep dish style. Cool rims and the rings matched my color combo. |

neillarson, could be, the colors are pretty close. I used a blue metallic pearl. I'll have mine setup to run either 2.2's or 1.9's, depending on the situation. I do like your build and had thought about making a lighter color cage, but then it would really look to much like yours. I've been wanting to do an MG200 EB and had to save up for it. Trenton does does some mean tube work!! |
