Default Hilux

Ok so I've been working on my tamiya Hilux for a while now and I seem to have it pretty well cleaned up. I want to get this truck running soon, but I really don't like how stiff the suspension is. Is there any way I can get a little more travel out of the suspension? I can barely as of now get one tire of the ground by picking ir up. It only moves about an 1/8th of and inch and thats pretty tough. So what have you guys doen that is a simple fix to this problem?

thanks mike for the help. I might be selling this truck within the week, so you may need to get in touch with the possible future owner.
