Tamiya CC-01 based. Just getting the body and fenders mocked up for now but it looks great. I plan to run cut & shut geolanders on black pede wheels to fill out the wheel wells and give much better traction than the hard compound tamiya tires. Other than that the chassis will stay pretty stock. This will be more of a trials truck type rig than a crawler of course. |

It's like that body and chassis were meant for each other! Good job with this one. |

i have the same mog body(silver) on a TL01 chassy.... your rig looks nice with the xc chassy.... i see your going to run cut geos.... i have tlt wheels and tires and they rub on the mog fenders alot.... i can always raise the body but then the scaleness will go away.... if you some how make wideners for the bfg's they will look good on the rig.... I don't want to hijack the thread but where did you get that body? It looks like a Dickie Unimog U300. I've been trying for years to find one with no luck. Thanks! |

Probably not a dump bed. If you search ebay for "Jungle Rescue" you'll see it. I haven't checked if they ship to the US but this german site even has the dickie u300......among other amazing things http://truckmodellsport.de/shop/index.html Last edited by pigeonfarmboy; 08-23-2006 at 01:28 AM. |

Yup, I'm sure the quality of the plastic on the Dickies is far superior but the Jungle Rescue is just too cheap to care.
