Default 1tonscouts 1/10 scale 1 ton scout

I'm building a scale scout with a RC4WD Trailfinder chassis that is getting a RC4WD Fracture V8 engine transplanted into it. The axles are custom width Wraith axles modfied for leafsprings, scale shocks and disc brakes. The wheels are Vanquish 2.2 KMCs on mudslingers

Welcome! When you start a new build, please post your plan, your parts and some progress pictures. Members won't get excited if there's nothing to see on the front end and won't subscribe or remember to check back on your build. There are a ton of builds going on, and you'll be disappointed when nobody acknowledges your build. Best advice, get some work done and post up again when you have something to look at. Best of luck!

I wondering as well....didn't want to ask the obvious as I'm sure all of us are wondering. With the suspense, build up, parts list ect......it has to be good!

No pressure.

So have you gotten any solid answer on what the tranny is capable of handling motor/power wise? It's an awesome "looking" unit but I almost hate to see such a cool beefy build taking place and know that it's destined to have a 60t motor in it. I have even considered getting this tranny for my King Hauler build....but I can't move that slow. Just can't.

I have run a Fracture V8 for a while now.About three years ,and I have found that it will hold up to a mild brush-less.But most of the time it has had a brushed 35 turn.one thing that causes failure is play in the housing or bearings. The machine work is tight and gears are beefy. Its definitely stout.I do recommend bearing upgrade tho
