The steering servo is fixed to the front axle as a Axial SCX,
all the rest of the mechanical parts comes from another planet

AMAZING! You've got to be very pleased with what you've accomplished with that beautifully designed crawler.

It is not a cost issue, the first batch of 8 pieces is sold out,
the next batch is expected in January 2017....

Now we come to the body, for the final of the Italian Extreme Championship in 2017 I decided to reproduce the look
of a vehicle seen recently in Europe Ultra4 races that hit my attention,
here is the muse:

Tests colors and graphic simulated with the pc :

What foams are you using in the Badlands/ Rock Beast tires ??

Did you narrow the Badlands ??

Does using the Rock Beasts sidewall stiffen the tires a little ??

Do they perform better with the Rock Beast side walls ??

I own a set of 2.2'' Badlands and want single stage foams and contacted Crawler Innovations but there not familiar with the tires

I have a Honcho with Wraith AR60 axles and 1.9'' are not tall enough or wide enough, and just don't look right

The Badlands are 5.06'' tall and that is a good height and width for my Honcho, all of my other 2.2'' are 5 1/4'' to 5 1/2'' and they are too tall

So I'm curious what foams you are using and the size of the foams you used

The foams that use of all the tires I own, are homemade or derived from memory foam.

Yes, have been reduced both width and diameter.
The rules Extreme in Italy allows a maximum diameter of 4,76".

I used only once the Rock Beast, in an artificial track during a trade fair.

For my personal experience, the perfect foams for maximum performance are very difficult to find on the market,
there is great variability determined by the vehicle weight and weight distribution, as well as the type of tires that are used.

For my Race Scaler Class 1, Class 2, Class 3 and Extreme,
i prefer to build dual stage foams bespoke,
but don't worry, i'm antique .....

Thanks for answering

I won't be competing any time soon

I use normal size tires, that have not been modified

So maybe I can find some over sized foams and trim them to fit

Need to do some looking online and see what I can find

I'm cheap

I'm sure for good performance and stock tires, not extreme,
on the market you can find valid foams, Crawler Innovation and now Proline, have available interesting double stage foams
