The trucks rear is being torn out and being send out to be machined. The axle width is way to wide so I am having the rear axle narrowed to match the front axle width because after I spaced the front to match the rear it just doesnt look right. you should have had that rear axles machined a little bit narrower than the front. because thats the way the 1:1's are. other than that its sweet |

That thing looks awesome. I have got to find a bruiser/mountaineer. These are just too cool. That's going to be a very impressive setup once it's all done.

Sweet truck! If you don't mind me asking, how much did the axle trimming set you back?

| 4/10 back from the dead
Well I was sitting here at work, got done dealing with ridiculous emails, and started thinking about this truck... I never really finished it, its sitting in the show case in the basement with no wheels on it because I couldnt source any nice aluminum wheels or mountaineer wheels, but with my recent 1.9 clone project I started thinking this might look really good as a 1.9. So I am thinking of using a chino pede mount, leafing the front and 4 linking the rear and getting some nice 1.9 wheels from Bruiser Builder and finding some more 1.9 claw dawgs. Any thoughts on this idea? -Mike |

the 1.9's would look pretty good but why 4 link the rear, i'd leave leafs all the way around, especially if its a tow rig. who narrowed the rear for ya? i got a hilux/blazer rear i might want narrowed. also, if your looking for some new hub caps for the axles, check these out, just got a set myself. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=002 |
