| Fj-40
This is my project that I have been working on through out the summer. It is the origionaly proline FJ-40 Landcruiser body, and based off of my own custom chassis hand made, using pede transmission and TLT drive-train. Enough of the Jibberish right now I'll let the pics speak for themselves. I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have. Quick easy wheelbase jig. origional side profile. link mock-up. front started. close-up of front steering assembly. Rear link setup. Final stages of the frame. Pede is in. E-maxx rear bumpers make great scale bumpers. Roof rack, and narrowed rims sporting swamp-dawgs. Finished fron end. Love the tag. Roof Rack Package. Mandatory Flex shots. Great articulation. looks semi-scale don't it? Just enough clearance. Narrowed rims on the truck and standard rims next to it. Not too dramatic, but just enough to look better. Thanks for all the guys's help, and to my sponsers: Montana Scale Designs, Nluvwithxlr8ing, Crawlerman, and any others that I have forgotten. Any comments on future mods would also be appriciated. hopefully getting a light kit to install soon. |

Thanks for all the nice compliments guys. Ben you were a big help in pulling through with the scal factor of this rig. I owe alot of appriciation to you in helping build this truck. I'm thinking of getting the frame powdercoated, but I'm not sure if I want it black or possibly a deep red or something. Input would be nice. Thanks again, Tyler |

anytime. I think it is really cool how me being 16 and all, and not having much knowledge can get you olderguys fired up and thinking how you can make your trucks better. I love how anyone and everyone on her contributes to someone in some way. Thanks RCC for helping me out and all the others who make it possible.

Thanks for the compliment. Red is one of the brightest colors, so it definatly stands out in the crowd. I think it kinda looks like a trails rescue truck in some ways. May possibly end up looking more along the lines of a rescue truck than a full blown crawler.
