Hubs and bolt pattern give it away. Is that the pivot chassis?

Are you using the 4door body that is common or that 2door one I've seen some one post. Think it was a discontinued Bolink. I'l love to see a command car build. Not sure how easy lexan would be to work with but I could see the 4dr being made into one.

It's going to be the bolink 2 door body. Should I do the swivel chassis or a standard one? Plans are to have a real winch on the front too. I'm waiting for my friend to call me back so I can barrow his welder. As my welder was stolen a couple weeks ago. Last edited by Cole82; 09-24-2006 at 11:58 AM. |

I wasn't a big fan of the swivel chassis in the real world. Suprized noone has posted the top truck pic of the PW with gobs of flex on the RTI ramp. But for scale RC, no doubt it'd be cool. Maybe attach the bed seperately like the 1:1 rig.

A little more progress not much I can do untill the body comes. The body will be cut in two pieces so it will swivel like the real thing. Talk about frame flex. What tires does everyone think would look the best? Last edited by Cole82; 09-24-2006 at 06:53 PM. |

Those hawgs cut like swampers look great. Look at that frame twist as is. If you didn't have to worry about a tranny, just put one crossbrace mid-chassis. Now that would be some chassis flex, like a scale TS design. |

That is the info I was looking for. In that case I might do something like this. Just with onather rim. Does any one know of a 1.9 rim that would be good looking for this progect? Put 2.2 on 1.9's Last edited by Cole82; 09-25-2006 at 05:51 PM. | |

You should try to do something more along the lines of tractor lug style tires. That would look pretty sweet on that truck. Have always wondered where the 2 door powerwagon was made from now I konw. Should be a sweet build from the looks of it.
