SCX10 chassis modified & fitment is dead on!! C-frame rails - Paint removed! need bare metal for Tig welding later the spring! (rear cage) Managed to do some electronics along the way too. ESC and BEC located on rear custom bed, LiPo and TRX radiobox mounted (box for Axial NVS, later on...) Soldered on CC 4.5mm goldplated connectors to some 12GA wire off the Tekin motor. Resoldered my CC BEC (not shown in this image) but i slapped on a connector to drop into my PC and program on the fly and another connector which supplies the servo with power&ground. some more progress today... Electronics on rear bed done (Reciever and CC BEC) ESC mounted up front (still needs to be cleaned up) Battery tray still needs to be mounted. Programmed the ESC and BEC (swapped out the brushed for my Tekin) RC4WD bumper mounted. Last edited by SwampDawg; 02-14-2014 at 02:09 AM. |

installed my custom snorkel and added spot lights. lol and yes...eventually ill deanodizing the purple!! but i needed to use the wraith shock bodies and savage caps to make a better shock. These goofy diaphrams axial gives suck!! HPI has nice o-rings instead. Last edited by SwampDawg; 02-18-2014 at 02:24 AM. |
