i should have room might have to do a little carving on the skid or lift that tranny up off it. look what i got! hit the first issue, shock mounting, going to have to chop off all these brackets on here and make my own these are much too small, also gmade shocks will not work on this just simply too short going to have to be at a minimum of 120mm in the front or ill have to make a CMS or some thing due to the front end shape, in other words ALOT of work ahead. youll never see it in pictures but ALL the shocks rub on the chassis where there located now so tonight will be dremel work with grinding off these mounts and making new ones and relocating/ positioning them to better suit the chassis and help out with clearances scratch changing the chassis, going to use king scale shocks, there smalle enough diamiter to fit everything and come in the right length i need. what color should i do it? i dont want it to be red everything in my life is red already it would seem. Shocks are mounted! still need longer rears but for now these will work on mock up, Last edited by THX_138; 06-05-2014 at 10:10 PM. |

im really having an issue witht he servo though it hits on the nose bad but the axle is in the perfect spot and i think a cms on this is not an option, it would just look so... weird. any suggestions? i think a low profile servo would help?

You would have to ditch the currie, but either dinkylink or dlux could help ya out. The dlux is carbon fiber... Check out wheels7 build thread. And I think you should do red aswell.

i did not even think about that, i need the dlux front truss ona standard ar 60 sits nice with wheels on it now, still need bigger shocks to get everything right, i tell you making panels is not my thing but i can get it done.. still have to ad ridges to them so no pictures yet! Dlux trusses on the way along with knuckle weights, getting shocks mounted up! look what i picked up to power the best, the new brick 6000mah 100c 2s beast. That battery will work great. That's where all the weight is in the 1/1 ultra bouncer to. On the 1/1 the sway bar goes through the gas tank that's why I didn't put one on there. It would be cool if you could duplicate that.

I made the top bar to fit a rigid 3" light bar to. Should fit rite under it at 3.6". And of course some modification is required to fit.

sweet i was just measuring that up to see what light bar would fit, thanks for letting me know ill have to get one ordered i just dont know how to attach my stuff to the chassis, i guess i need to weld brackets on or just drill and thread the holes, gettin shit done, soon off to primer then paint.... still a little undecided but we will see. as you can see i accidently broke a ****ing nut off, very mad at my self for that but i think i can fix it.
