Default S10 Truggy rebuild

I had this almost completed once, but it's in for an all out build again.
Started with a new chassis cut by myself.

Going to be running the Trail Finder 2 speed trans and Tcase.
And AR60 axles,

Today's progress

Cutting your own chassis - CRAZY! Crazy cool that is. Nice work, will follow the progress.

That was a quick build! Looks sweet! Do they make a s10 body or did you make it?

Not anywhere near finished, just barely have the axles mounted,
The body has had a ton of styrene work to get to be like the 1:1, it was a S10 TO START, but it was a stepwise bed, and had some really ugly wheel arches that needed reshaping.

My bad looked sorta finished. Looks awesome, big difference from the old body to the new. Never knew they made a s10 body.

I had to cut and lengthen the whole front end, then build back in the fenders for a good wheel arch, the rear bed has just a few pieces of the original bed .

Not sure who made the body, it was off a hobby grade rc of some sort.

Great rebuild Sniper. Did you use*Pactra Lime Ice for your green? I just shot some on the outside of a Lexan body. It was a old can and came out textured looking. Just wondering what Lime paint you used. Thanks Norm

It was sprayed with automotive paint, with some heavy metallic added, the cleared over.
No hobby shop paint on this one.

This is a sweet ride cuz it's not your normal clod, hilux,, JK etc. Looks like the Extreme 4x4 truggy inspired you.
