Not sure if you looked at the WARCRC comp thread but my new 500GB harddrive crashed. It had all of the raw avi files from all the comps as well as all my personal data on it. So the vids will be delayed. Sorry.

THAT is sweet, do you have any more pictures of it? Perhaps a pic of the rear? And why does it seem to be levitating?

C'mon guy, give me a little credit. I was joking about the levitation thing
You can kinda tell it's a museum.

Gooba - Man, I hope it actually crawls well, if not I'm going to be pissed. If it doesn't do well, who's going to tow me off the rocks?
What else do you want me to take pics of?

I was hoping for a pic of the back so I can get a better idea of the lifting linkage. I google searched it and found the exact same pic that you posted. I thought you had taken a pic of it with your own camera, and might have more. I don't really care who built the crane , just care about what it looks like. Thanks anyways.

My wife left town for a few days, I should be able to get quite a bit done on it. More to come.

Nope, going to keep the hood. I'm working on two more boxes to go behind the cab. They will support the light bar that will span the boxes. They will also house the 9 volt battery I'll use to run the winch and lights. Lots of cutting and fitting, it's gonna be a while. I did get the electronics in, and the truck working. Chased my kids around the house for a while, untill I rolled a couple of tires off the rims. Gonna have to get them glued on soon. I'm thinking I'll need to put a little weight in the fronts, to counter balance the heavy a** back end.

How's your scale truck coming along Devlin?

Got the lower door on the other side done today. I'm a little pissed, somehow the hinge isn't centered on the door like the other side. I may have to fix it if it bothers me too much.

I also made the pattern for the upper boxes, and cut them out. I guess I know what I'll be doing tomarrow:-(

Here I taped them together to get an idea what they'll look like. Also picked up a light bar from Tammie's (actually Ryan) The top of the boxes will be the light bar mount. I also got an ambulance LED strobe light kit today, I'ts going to be cool.

Dang Tim, this is such an amazing build. Really goes to show what can happen when you put serious time into one project. You've got mad skills! When this is all done, it's definately going to be one of my favorite scale rigs of all time...

Might have to feature it on ORCRC.com?
