Very nice for leftovers, looks like my way of using mags for a bench as to not dirty anything and get on the #### list with the wife. Been there, dont want to do it again.

JP, if that is how you build a truck out of spare parts, I would be scared to compete against you with store bought parts. Impressive to say the least, I friggin love it! keep up the good work my fine man.

The only part that I swiped off something else were the brushless and esc off my comp tlt I actualy was cleaning out the loft in the shop and found the tlt kit new in box I had got in a trade from Heavy a couple months ago and knew that I had to build a scaler. The body has been on so many diffrent trucks is pitiful and the tires and wheels I have had for well over a year thrown up top CAUSE THEY SUCKED THEN JUST LIKE THEY DO NOW the tranny is peiced togather from 3 other trannys that I had bought when I got good deals on them just like the 645 mg its the gears from a smoked 645 then the motor and board were from one that had stripped gears and a busted case. The chassis is made from left over L channel the revo links and ends wer bought cause all i had were plastic ends and the cheapy t maxx links that I have broke a metric ton of.I still have some cleaning to do so I hope I can find that 2110 VW motor I have stashed somewhere my chop top bug needs it in a bad way. Dear mexican who learned to swim I havent siped them cause my fat arse dont want black Boogers for 2 months like the last time I did it. |

Thats what I like. Something built from what ever is laying around that ends up working better then some high dollar rigs and looks just as good.

BTW my first car was a 53 convertible with a 2110 superflo heads rollers, dual 52's geneberg 1st through 4th with a fifth gear conversion............about 5 years later it became a 1835 twin blow through F.I. drag Manx!(9.89 back in 95)i thought air-cooled was cool until i got into watercooled.......i had an 83 GTI that went 11.02 at 138 on 13" slicks back in 96, on a stock 16v block lots of boost(22 lbs.) and straight c16 fuel. needless to say the axles didn't hold up all that well, i later retro'd 510 rear axles, then the tranny blew up! but yeah it was funny when some monkey in a GSR tried to race me on the freeway and i pulled past him in fifth smoking the tires for about a hundred yards! | |
