| k2-3L in progress
Well, here's progress so far. Nothing real out of the ordinary as I'm still waiting on either rockworks/microgoat's body or my Landy, er I mean Bushwhacker body to come in. Stats: k2-3l chassis - I really like how light this chassis is. This was one of the blems he had for sale. Once I sanded it down a bit, you can't tell at all. stampede tranny revolver v1 mamba maxx run2jeepn's 60mm shocks spektrum tx metal yokes the tires and wheels are just for mock up. I have yet to decide on what I will be running. Maybe some more geolanders or I might hit up insanerc for something narrowed On to the pics: First and foremost, spent most of the day cleaning off my worktable. No before pics, but trust me, this is immaculate compared to what it was before. 4-link setup View of the steering Shocks mounted up to the middle. Seems to work well, nice and smooth. Off-the-axle, top down steering. Electronics strapped in on the plate in the back. I still have to decide where the batteries will end up. Rear shocks and lockouts. They don't rub against that plate at all. Also smooth travel from them for being such tiny shocks. Last edited by Cloak; 12-28-2006 at 04:03 PM. |

I love that everyone that builds these chassis builds them a little different. Great build so far.

I agree with the others on that servo set up, very sweet. Nice rig you have there.

Nice job so far Cloak & Dagger. Remember that movie? With the angle of the steering link, you'll likely get a ton of bump steer. |
