Default Lo-Lift...

Well, im turning it into a tow rig. Gonna have to get another pede trans and maybe a 35t motor or just use my 27t. I have a trailer in the works right now, no pix until its done. I used some small zipties to pull the axles to the chassis to lower it, its gonna pull my bronco. I lowered the cab and bed a little bit my cutting down the mounts. I pulled the leaf spring blocks off the axles to drop it down even more. Still need to lower it more, but not sure how.

Ahh something besides a massive hauler, like the idea. Keep us informed on it. Very interesting approach to a hi-lift!

The springs are almost completely flat right now. Im a big beleiver in the fact the you dont really need a massive truck to pull a not so massive truck. Just got the hitch done, used a peice from the gay stock steering set-up. I was contemplating using touring car coilovers but im not going to go through the hassle or making it 4link.

Well, i ditched the zipties and just switched the leafs to the bottom of the axle with no block, if i wanted to drop it mor i can add the blocks, and i think it now has more flex than stock. Yeah they are hpi vintage wheels, might also pick up the vintage tires soon.

EDIT: Scuzzy, looks like we were thinking on the same channel a minute ago..

it's a leverage system, it's supposed to let you put long travel shocks
in a fairly small space for a smooth ride.here's a link

well i tried ths out on my high lift today. pretty cool but a lot of movin stuff around to make the front axle not interfere with other parts. do you have your front driveshaft in? I didnt have any smaller tires so it rubbed real bad so i changed it back. but way cool idea i like it
