Default Welding with tin???

Hi guys!

Is it possible to weld a chassi with tin? I know it wouldn't be very strong, but I would build it just for me (I wouldn't sell a chassi welded with tin) and I would just crawl with it.

I did try to weld 5mm rod with tin today and after many tries and hard work I somehow succeeded...

I know I should braze the chassi and weld with silver, but silver is SUPER expensive and you need a "strong" torch right?

Any input on the subject will be highly appreciated.

Any alternative to welding with tin, brazing or TIG welding will also be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!
