Default Cap pack

Hey guys i wanted to know if ot would make sense to install a cap pack on a crawler.

What ESC and servo are you running? Do you have a BEC?

Servo power spikes would be the only potential benefit for a cap pack in a crawler but you should have a BEC anyways and then the cap pack isn't needed. Cap pack doesn't really help that much for a servo because they're only designed to release current for a short period whereas servos need a sustained supply.

Cap packs are getting to be pretty old tech and they're quickly heading the way of the dodo bird, they were more relevant when we trying to run go-fast toys on NiMH or NiCad batteries that couldn't provide adequate discharge rates.
