Hell yeah Chris, that's looking awesome! Glad I could be of inspiration with the rear shock mounts . I absolutely love the articulation shot....Montana's going to be a battle royal! It freaks me out to see Guido like that too, but you must modify to keep up!

New stance makes it look so much better Chris. Not that it didn't look good before, just looks much tougher now!

I know there's something different with the body. I even when back to some of the pictures I took of it and I really can't see what you have changed besides the comp cut in the rear.
Are you going to cut up your purple flamed body and put that on this once you get everything the way you want it?

You keep outdoing yourself every time you redo Guido. Keep up the amazing work!
I can't wait to see this in person again, and see how well all of your changes work!

Thanks Tim. I love your coilover mounts so much I had to do something at least close to them. After all the work it took to make the four peices hit the right spots on the chassis I have an all new appreciation of what it must have taken to make yours.

I can't wait for Montana, EPIC battle I tell you, EPIC!!

Thanks Todd. I get what you are saying, it just plain looks better now. This is how I should have done the last rebuild. Doesn't matter now, its happening and I am loving it so much I can't wait to get out and drive!!

I cut 1/4 off the length of the rear quarter panels to make them correct to scale. It's a subtle change but I think it helps with the overall look.
Guido will not be yellow anymore, I'm going to do something new and special with the body and paint. The yellow will be replaced with RCC green.
It may sound weird, green and purple but I think it will look pretty wicked. We shall see.

Thanks Robbob. That is one neat thing about this build. So many builds get done and sold, I like how the history of the evolution is all in this thread.

I love that pic too Norm. Somehow it just turned out looking wicked and I didn't really even try. I think the cut of the front fenders has alot to do with that. Thanks Norm.

Here is a pic of the BMS built trophy truck that inspired the shock mounts. If you were to flip and rotate this mount it is what I modeled Guido's after.
Thanks guys.

Hey Chris, looking bad a$$! Can I give an opinion? From a fabricators point of view, you should box the shock mounts in like your inspiration 1:1 rig has them. I would also put some speed hole in the box piece as well. That would take them over the top in my opinion. Steller rebuild! Hope to see it in person soon!

I thought about boxing them and adding speed holes. The only thing is that they are waaaay overbuilt for what a shock mount needs to be already, even in 1:1. If they were coilover mounts then they would need to be boxed for sure.
Thanks for the input R2j, I appreciate it. I will continue to look at them and I may decide to modify them.
