| I am still figuring that part out... Since the 2.2 will have cut brakes as well later on, the Patlas Maxx tranny is not needed. I have a pede tranny sitting here that I was thinking of using but its friggin huge!! I might try to trim the case and reinforce it. I might go Rc10 tranny. Evil Ed seems to have good luck with his... Here are the last updates of the night, I'm tired. More tomarrow! Last edited by WheelChair; 08-12-2007 at 04:06 AM. |

| You don't buy WK axles with titanium MAXX axles shafts. I am completely Building my 2.2 from scratch before the Nationals. Then I have to get the Super going again... I have less then a month. You wanna give me a break on the plastic axles there Chief? |

wicked sick! good luck getting it built up. another idea for a tranny might be an ax10 tranny, really small and well built. |

If you can get your hands on a B3-T3/B4-T4 tranny I'd say go for it I've also seen a few run the nitro GT trans with a custom motor plate, not that that would be an issue The newer GT2 tranny has a 4.09/1 gear ratio ShorTy |

I like it but i dont get how its scale! i know you have/had a 1:1 that looks like it, but really you are going to compete with it? in the 2.2 class!? owell not thing to say! But it is looking good and the super is total BEEF-CAKE |

The Super has a wheelbase of Just under 18 inches. Its Scale is 7.25 / 1 17.931" times 7.25 = 130" 130" is the wheelbase I am going for on the Fullsize. Same with the 2.2. Its scale is 10.4 / 1 12.5"WB times 10.4 = 130" A 44" Bogger divided by 10.4 = 4.23" So a moab is a bit tall... at 4.95" But they are almost tall enough to be a 54" Bogger! The only thing that would not workout for Comp use was the width. Scale calls for 2.88" wide. Rules call for 3". So its a touch wider but you can't tell... Why wouldn't I be able to run a comp with it? Last edited by WheelChair; 08-17-2007 at 01:40 PM. | |

How can it be more scale, it's a very close replica of his actual 1:1 rig?

Interesting build. What's more interesting is the random use of caps. Look forward to seeing at the Nats. |
