| Sprung Under FJ!
Like the title says. I haven't had a whole lot of time to build myself a crawler in the past year but finally sat down last week and got to work. I've been gathering the parts over the past couple months here and there and wound up with this. Bruiser frame, high lift leafs, shafts, and axles, FJ hard body (lime green ), R2 tranny, junfac beadlocks, 2.2 mudslingers, 55t integy, super chicken, and a bunch of hand made nonsense. Sorry for the crappy phone pics. Much much more to come. Shot at 2007-09-23 Shot at 2007-09-23 Shot at 2007-09-23 Shot at 2007-09-23 Last edited by CrawlnSlow; 09-23-2007 at 07:12 PM. |

I'm experimenting with a new "drag droop" system . Actually there are lil revolvers back there and I'm going to try and mount the rear tonight if the straight axle adapters show up today. I have high hopes I'll be able to do what i want with them. On that note, by the way Lowes, has a full metric tap sets for 20 bucks (being a steadfast Home Depot employee.) On my way home from work I'm also going to pick up a decent camera, the phone just isn't cutting it. Terry Last edited by CrawlnSlow; 09-24-2007 at 09:17 AM. |

Tammies provided me with the body i believe. I'm not positive because I've spent the past 5 hours playing halo 3. Thats also why I don't have new pics. Funds should be back up tomm to pick one up. I got the rc4wd solid axle adapters and mounted the rear. All i need to get it running is a rear drive shaft and get the mounting straight. Either way pics tomm. and hopefully a cleaner look. Terry |

Umm stupid question as I am new to the scaler forums... Is Tammies a member here on RCC, a vendor or local shop or a nickname for a Tamiaya product... sheesh I feel dumb asking that... |

Nice so far. I'm looking forward to seeing this thing farther along. It always seems like weight becomes an issue with these bodies.

Tammies is a vendor on here. It definately is thats why i went for the sprung under setup and the jufacs. This thing is so damn wide and low it might aswell be an impala. I'm going to have to design tiny little hydrolics. |

| It hardly seemed fitting having a beautiful body like this dragging around the rocks. I test ran it with front wheel drive for a minute and nothing seems to be binding. Now I just need my highlift shafts to come in and to hinge the rear of the body. I also bought the material for a roof rack and plan on finally setting up my basement shop tomm. pics to come
