Default Zukmans' 2007 Chevy Suburban

Here is my first attempt at a scale crawler. I wanted something different and I had a bunch of stuff laying around I didn't know what to do with.

Wheely King axles
Custom built beadlocks to get the track width down
Wheely king trans up front
Axial trans for a t case
K2-3l chassis cut down and custom delrin skid
Geolanders
Leaf springs

So far it has been fun
We'll see how I feel in a couple more weeks

I wanted the body to be more ridged without having to mount it up through the top with big ugly mounts and pins. It is more like a plastic body now.

Here are some updated pics.

Sweet! I dig those rims. Very Bling bling. They suit the Burb well.

Where'd you get that sweet little box that you have the electronics in?

Are those wheels aluminum or plastic?

Walmart sells the boxes. They are in a pack of three different sizes and cost about $5.50. It locks all the way around and has a oring seal so it is water proof.

We'll see how it works. I may go back to a normall set-up but I want to try this first.

Yes it is painted on the outside and now it is scratched up and is going to need some body work.
