comp date

i just thought we should get everyones opinion

The following comp is the 23rd. If we do the 16th the next comp would be the following weekend. That would mean moving the 23rd comp to Thanksgiving weekend, that sounds like trouble.

I am not apposed to making the next comp a double points comp nor am I apposed to having the next two a week apart. It just seemed like with Nascar this weekend, etc. some might not be apposed to changing the date. i just screwed up and made plans with my family for this weekend without looking at the schedule first...oops!

Some of us will not make every comp. The schedule was agreed on
when most of us were at the junkyard our last of the summer comps.
Some of us like myself have taken time off for the dates posted for
our Fall/Winter Comp schedule like Nov. 9th. I know we had reasons
for the dates we set.

i would not be apposed to moving the comp back a weekend and running the comps back to back weekends. just moving the 9th comp would help alot more people than it would hinder i think and i'm pretty sure that between all of us we can call everyone that hasn't posted up and let them know about the change. i could call john at action which would include jeremy,soren,ryan,my buddies curt and steve just a thought.

I say stick to the dates as originally planed and approved. If you start changing the dates for one person than you will have to do it for everyone. Sorry BMUZZ, that is the way I see it. I know us NARCCA guys dont know much but we are trying. When is the next SHOOTOUT?

It wasn't just for me that I brought it up, Freonman (Bob) brought it up as well because of Nascar and a few others. If I miss a comp then I miss a comp...I'll get over it! I just thought that if more guys were in the same spot I was I would ask the question.

Muzzy and Bob, if you get there early we can have you run all three course back to back to back. No more than 20 minutes and you're out of there!!

Thanks Mike but my deal isn't Nascar, I don't have my new radio for one and I am going out of town because I screwed up and forgot to look at our schedule before making other plans so I'll see you at the next comp.

What dunes do you go to? The family and i normally go to Buttercup sand dunes but we are building a house right now so there is no extra money or time to do it. I am jealous.

Hey Ryan, We always go to Buttercup ourselves and just ride over to Gordons when we want to hit some bigger stuff. What do you ride? I have a LTR450 and the Wife has a tricked out Rhino 4 seater. When you get some time we'll have to hook up!

thanks mike the slugg and i will be there early. if we could run 1st and then leave that would be great! then we could still make the race:-P
