so wats goin on with this i know there was plans for it to be in tucson withe the sarrca club but have herd nothing about it since than. i would like to get this goin and set a date on it about a month in advance so i can get to go to the event.

so lets get this set in stone

January 31st is what I've been told, I'll see if I can get ahold of Lee to post up and confirm the date.

Yes, Jan 31st is the date. We have a couple prize sponsors on board(need a few more) and the Art work is being finished up as we speak.

Planned to post an announcement this weekend and get the Registration thread started.

I will post the link to the announcement thread in here too.

Is there camping like the northern shoot out or just local hotels? I'll be bringing the Wife and kids again.

I can't wait to run those rocks again. This area has some of the best rock
for RC Crawlin in the State. Lee you can count on me coming to this one.

T-shirts are in!!

And there are local Motels with in a couple miles many choices. I am trying to get us good rate for the Motel 6 which is closest to the site. I will let you guys know about that when I can get the answer next monday or tuesday.

And yes Rick you are correct THE best rocks in the state if not country. I would love to show you guys the other locations we comp at too but we wanted to keep this as close to amenities as possible. Its going to be really cool to have you guys down here to "play" I am hoping some can stay for the fun run on Sunday down in Texas Canyon or up on Mount Lemmon.

I am working on the Announcement and Registration as we speak.

It's a bit of a drive but I love it. We've got to go to Texas Canyon. If people are coming from places statewide they've got to experience Texas Canyon.

Definitely Texas Canyon and now that we found the owners and got full access we have much much free roam of the area!!
