Not that you need more convicing, but yeah.. Hobby Action... Bring your crawler with you too, they have a challenging little wall built that you can play on...

I live in glendale and still make my weekly drive to hobby action.....if you order stuff thru TCS before noon , you'll usually get it the next day......I really try to support the locals. Most hobby shops around here don't do much for crawler guys.......so I help the ones that do.......

i ran across a shop on lindsey and williamsfield but they are mostly planes. the guy did say that he can order anything and said he would give crawlers a fat discount.

Hobby Action is one of the very few (if not the only one) local stores that carry parts that you'll see sold by vendors on this forum

Get this...I was absolutely blown away.

I walked into Hobbytown at Baseline & Gilbert the other day after work and they had rearranged everything in the store. I look over where it used to be all bodies...and they have what, umm what, uhhh the new Losi Comp Crawler, and an MRC They even had a 1:16 Slash. What the hell happened over there? Those guys were not even remotely concerned about the crawler market and then BAM. What the hell took them so long?

It was so funny. I said to the guy "whoa, you guys are bringing in crawlers now huh...oh wow and that's the new Losi crawler". He says..."oh yeah, it's getting more popular and people have come in asking for crawler stuff". Then he says "go ahead and grab one of them axles and give 'er a twist, thing flexes like crazy...you've never seen anything flex like this thing".

You should go in there and ask them how to battle torque twist on the new losi comp crawler. It should be quite funny. Its like asking Autozone for brake pads on a 83 Corvette

Yup under new managment but unfortunatly Dennis is still going to work there and take care of the ordering so they still won't have anything useful
