Default Sunday 11-27 Scale run @ South Mountain Page 2 update.

I'm thinkin of going out on Sunday for a scaler run. Not sure where yet, maybe S. Mtn or Mini moab.

Anybody wanting to make a trip?

Mormon Trail parking at 7:30 going to try this trail out.

Cool, it might make it. I don't know if the holiday will hold it up at all or not.

I picked up a new camera and want to do some filming. I may try it out in the back yard tonight and see how it works.

I'm asking for a HH BR-XL esc and Cobalt puller motor for the wraith for christmas. I'll throw the tourquemaster 540 in the dingo. Big plans for the dingo!

My parts came in to fix the hummer so count me in.

And my vote is south mountain. Thats where i broke the hummer not even 5 yards in and snapped the rear wheel off. So im down to tackle the trail this time. Just my vote but mini moab is always fun

Okay, let say 7:30ish at the parking lot by the trailhead for Kiwanis trail since the parking lot for 9 tables probably won't be open yet. From there we can go either way.
See if this map worked A is the gate to 9 tables and B is the Kiwanis Trail parking lot.

Dont really see an A or B on the map but looks like the trail head you are referring to if its red pointer is basically at the top of the mountain by the look out. You can count me in but may get lost, hope not, i'll do some more research so i dont get lost. See you guys there

you shouldn't get lost, it's right next to where the comp a few weeks ago was. Just go around that loop you'll see us.

Not sure why you aren't seeing the pointers on the map, it is probably 200 yards up the road from the gate to 9 tables. If you google Kiwanis Trail you should find it.

All I've got to get done is put beadlocks back together, remount the skids, get the electronics mounted on the skids and solder a deans plug on a new battery. Too keep myself out of trouble I have to get the Honey Do list done before Sunday too.
Should be a busy weekend.

you guys might want to select another location as this sunday is silent sunday at southmountain park, no cars allowed on the roads in the park
just a heads up so everyone doesn't get there and not be allowed in
it has happened to us a couple of times for comps at the summit
