SARCCA Winter Comp Shedule 2012

10/7 Sykes Knob
10/14 Gates Pass
11/4 Windy point

11/16-18 Willow Springs G6 camp and crawl

12/02 Brittlerock
12/16 Texas Canyon
12/30 Willow springs

If anyone wants to add a location other then listed, please say so.

As always there will be scale runs after the comps.

Start time will continue at 9am, step up will begin at 8am for those that want to help out.

If anyone would like to have a club meeting to discuss anything before the season is underway, we can do that as well, I am open to suggestions. We can meet somewhere and have food, at a gtg, etc.

Club dues will remain the same for this winter/spring schedule. Lets try and get them in by 10/14 at gates pass if possible.

Should be a good season, hope to see everyone make it out to the comps. See you on the rocks

I'm in for the first two. Ian and Liam will be here for the season. I have a friend that will be helping them out. I'm trying to get him in on the scale side. He has a 1:1 YJ.

Nov 16-18th. I was unable to make Oct work out due to my wifes school schedule. There will be a thread up this weekend

We link a map to each comp announcement during the season a week or 2 in advance.

We follow usrcca rules found here under comp section

Anyone can participate, the more the better.

I would reccomend our sportsmans class. Its a 2.2 shafty only. We prefer no dig but if your rig has it installed its not necessary to remove.

Yeah Wes I'll be running my pro rig. I just need to work on my steering angle alittle bit.

I will be running sportsman for the first two comps, then off to Korea for a year. I have a great friend that will be helping my boys get to and from the comps, charging batteries and hopefully making repairs if needed. I will try and get him out to one, if not both comps before I head out. I plan on leaving my comp rig for my youngest son to use while I'm gone. What this translates to is...
Now I have a reason to build a pro rig! I just got my hacked GT3C from Losikid. Time to figure out how to use it with 4ws, dig, and what not.

I will not be able to make the first two comps or the one on 12/2. The other dates look good so far.
Andy, Amy, and Missy are still shafty, and I will be running shafty and MOA if I can keep the both running. I don't know how well I will do in pro, I haven't touched my rig since May, but I will give it a shot. I just can't find much time to get out and play anymore.

Good to hear Jack, I was hoping you were all going to still be out.

I have a feeling theres only a few pros this season, so dont sweat it. We can change the courses to suit varying skill levels and still make it fun and challenging for everybody.
