Default New to Phx And Crawling any help?

hi im new to the area and none of the shops have any info on where i can meet up and do some crawling! anyone got any suggestions or info? i hear there is one this sunday at 9:00 a.m at war paint?

Welcome to the addiction, here is the link for the comp schedule, maps to all the locations are also on the same site, some of the scale guys are getting together on sunday , there is a post in this section for the when and where.

Thanks Jeff!

Not sure what your into, scale or comp but there is a large group of both here in Phoenix and most guys do both.
As Jeff stated there is a comp Sunday 03/03 at War Paint and a few of us are planning to go out to Mini Moab for some scale crawling and trail running at around 9 or 10.

Look forward to seeing you out there.

Not sure about that. Wraith is kinda scale-ish. haha.

The majority of the scalers around here are wraiths. Seems like I am usually odd man out with my 1.9 rig.

just kidding, it is the wheel size the wraith comes with 2.2 inch wheels and the honcho,dingo,scx10 have 1.9 inch wheels

The wraith is based on a real non street legal crawler and looks just like it But its more about fun anyways as long as your having fun who cares all are welcome

in AZ tho tube buggies can be legally registered as roadsters. so according to AZ the wraith can technically be a 1/10th scale street legal ride.
