ASTR Scale comp #9 - Nine Tables @ South Mountain - Sunday March 22nd

We will be running three classes, each class will run 3 courses with an 8 minute time limit each:

Class-1 “Street"
• Description - A street legal off-road vehicle that you would drive to work or the trail head and outfit like an expedition vehicle such as the Camel Trophy truck D90 rigs.

Class-2 “Trail”
• Description - A stock vehicle that has been modified to become a capable trail rated rig and is not necessarily street legal.

Class-3 “Modified”
• Description - An off-road vehicle that you would build from the ground up and might see in a TTC/KOH type competition.

If you are unsure which class your truck belongs in please take a look at the SORRCA rules for clarification.
2015 Scale Rules

We will have a short drivers meeting @ 8:30 and will start the comp at 9am so please try to arrive early and have your scale points figured out in advance or they will not be added to your scores.

If you're new to the hobby or just want to come out and try your hand at a scale comp and hang with other scale enthusiasts come on out, everyone is welcome.

If you would like to help set courses I will be on site by 7am.

Also we could use some help judging so if you are able to help let me know, it will help move things along.

Sorry everyone we had to move the comp to new Papigo it is silent Sunday at s Mtn, my mistake I thought it was the last Sunday of the month currently it's the fourth Sunday of the month we are all at new Papigo park

My apoligies everyone for the mix up this morning. I thought that silent Sunday was the last Sunday of the month but it turns out it is the fourth Sunday of every month. Apparently I'm not the only one who thought this but now we know.
Thanks to everyone who made the treck over to New Papago park, especially Dan, Rudy, Frankie, and Travis who all travelled quite a distance to join us.

I would also like to thank Dan D, Joe, Kevin, Nick, Roy, Chris, Rudy, Phil and Dan B for helping with course setup and judging today, your help is greatly appreciated and I really couldn't continue to do this without you guys. Sorry if I missed anyone.

Man it was a scorcher out there, I'm going to blame that for my poor performance :-P I am totally digging my new ride, it is a whole new driving experience.

I'll echo Brian with the thanks. I know I needed a few water breaks and Phil and Roy both took over judging for awhile. We had lots of help building judging and cleaning up. Thank everyone for coming out and especially you guys who stuck it out to help get out of there. Comp season is going to get tough for the last 2 events.
