gonna take the wraith out and punish it today. prob hit the trails around 1pm. anybody interested? gonna try out the new 3s lipo setup and external bec!!

well sort of. 18 tooth pinion, 87 tooth spur, with a 35 turn integy lathe motor. on 3s it's about as fast as a stock wraith. BUT it crawls great and has loads more torque.

i found some good places and beat the crap out of the thing. didn't break anything except the stock 80 tooth spur! stripped it out within 5 minutes. my problem was i installed MIP driveshafts and while i had the tranny out i cracked it open and greased it up. when i reinstalled the spur i didn't set the mesh right.

all the problems people are having getting the set screws out of the driveshafts... hose them down with PB Blaster! i broke a MIP hex driver on the first one. then i just hosed them down, let them sit for about 30 minutes, and took all four of the screws out with 0 problems!!
