| Just another dig w/rear lock
Just another way to skin a cat. The basic dig is standard 2 male/1 female sleeve disconnect using Jato shafts. The rear lock is acheived by an aluminum plate that pivots as the servo unlockes the disconnect and stops the rear wheels by hitting on one of six pegs I built on the inside of the left rear beadlock. The pegs are built using longer 3m bolts and a piece of 3/16 brake tubing. Comp testing this coming weekend |

Chris, Looks great. It is good to see guys creating and making stuff themselves instead of buy everything from a store. To me that is what this hobby is all about. Great job. |

You mean I have to fab stuff to be cool? Hohoho- I fab for a living. It's nice to buy stuff sometimes! I dig the dig- very simple and inventive. Good luck in your comp! |

Thanks for the replys, The initial tests showed that on carpet the locking plate would flex a little and allow the rear to turn. I fixed it by running the pivot bolt all the way through the axle from bottom to top. Problem fixed, guess Ill see how it works on the rocks...
