Default Mickey's Fine Malt Liquor tuber

This is my first attempt at a tuber and I had a great time doing it. It's brake line and silver solder and some square tubing. I haven't been able to take it out yet so we will see how she rides soon.

Mickeys big mouths! Man does that bring back some memories. I lived in a dry county in high school and we used to drive to the next county to buy Mickeys.

I like the tuber, very cool. Thanks for bringing back some good memories.

I'm thinking of doing one with Pabst Blue Ribbon. $6.99 a case at Liquor Barn in San Diego when I was in college. Makes a lot of panels

Nice work I love it...looks like a "real" moon buggy for the square tubing is it brass? And what size is it?

Thanks for the comments peeps.

Yes I made the reciever tray, it is a piece of sheet metal with a hole and a 90deg. bend which mounts to the existing link screw. I have the same thing holding the esc as well.

The square tubing is hardened steel. It was a bit of a pain to braze but I got it with a little practice.

With positive feedback like this I might build a similar/better one and see if maybe someone wants to buy it from me.

Yes I know it is a hornet but bumble bee was much more fun to say once completely drunk

Oh and it is 3/16 square tubing. This was the only thing I was able to purchase in the build from home depot even though that was the first place I went every time I needed materials. Grrrr
