Post Another Tuber Build

I purchased the Chassis from a friend (red_rockcrawler of EWRCRC) and started the build from there. The parts are as follows:
Axles-- Axial (RCP SA kit)
Tranny-- Axial
Steering-- Skyion G82122
Shocks-- Axial (TCS internal medium springs)
Motor-- 1000kv BL (ordered)
BEC-- Castle Creations
Tires-- Moab (ordered)
Wheels-- Junfac (ordered)
Link Mounts-- TCS four link mounts F/R
All links were fabricated by myself, except delrin links. (red_rockcrawler)
As you can see I have tried a few different setups on the suspension and finally settled on the last setup. It works very well and I got the WB right on 12.5". Here are a few pics. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think.

Fresh coat of paint....

First go at the suspension. I must have measured wrong because the WB was 12.25" at this point.

Here I tried a diferent set of rear lowers but at this point it took my WB to 12" flat. NO BUENO!

The all mighty CC BEC....

The Axial tranny mounted on a piece of aluminum flat stock on top of the delrin skid.

The next few pics are after I added 7mm to the top links and made new longer lower HC links. Man I love the MONSTER.

As soon as I recieve more parts I will update the thread. CHEERS!

What do you think about the tuber with stock shocks? A lot of people use shorter shocks.

Ya I have seen people use shorter shocks. I like the internal springs and the ride height that I currently have. I will probably try many confiurations on the suspension and who knows maybe I will settle on one. Personal preference I suppose. Cheers!

Are you the builder of this chassis? If so, you did a great job and let me know what you would charge for another one, but super class. CHEERS!

Yup, I am to blame. That was a fun one to come up with and is pretty tough to. The solid rod construction and the flat spotted 1/4" skid cross members really make for a rigid setup.

As far as building you another one, PM my alter-ego Eritex Inc. here on RCC. I don't think it would be much of a problem
