| AXIAL Axles/Tranny for super class
Thinking about trying to build a "super" class rig, have seen many chassis like the hustler super and wondering if someone can inform me or point me to a thread that discusses using axial axles and transmission for a super class rig. I tried to search and apparently do not know the proper words/specifics to get the thread if there is one. i am considering the project and need to start looking at budget before i do anything so i need to know the possibilities of using these in a super class build. thanks |

i would say using axial axles would be ok but the drive shafts would have to be really long as most super are at least 15+inches long so i would use clod axles

I dont think the lockers would hold up to the bigger tire. It's like putting 35's on a dana 35 when you know your pushing it with 33's lol but I think it would work. |

I'd use a clod axle.

^ x3 on the Clod axles, or if you want a shafty, use TXT, or Jugg axles. Those aren't the only options though, look around the forum a bit, and you'll get a better idea of what will fit your budget best. |

| I run Maxx sized tires with 2.2 sidewalls on mine without issues. I stripped 1 locker so far and I'm dam hard on it. Now granted they are under 6inch's tall a 7inch moab would be much harder on them.
