| moving links way inboard ??
I've seen alot of guys moving their lower links in like the GC-1. I'm wondering with a 3link setup if this would still lessen axle steer/sway without straightening the uppers into a 4 link. Does anyone have any binding with the driveshaft or dig collar? Thanks all!

I've narrowed my chassis to 2" wide and changed out to double triangulated 4 link with equal length uppers/lowers. I like it allot better. no binding at all with links, shafts or my homebrew dig.

When you narrowed it , cutting away alot of the lower part of the chassis, does it compromise rigidity? Is there any more "chassis flex" torsional or lateral?

Also my collar is 1/2 inch around and travels all the way to the yoke on the tranny. Ya think that the links would clear a full rise on that side. Mine are bent but I could use straight ones in back if it's worth it. Thanks!

I've not noticed any. I made 4 cross braces out of 1/4" delrin plate to mount my ESC,Rx,and regulator on. That seems to be keeping the chassis pretty rigid. Quote:
My collar goes from yoke to yoke. Haven't seen and issues yet. Every set up will vary a little. You could try to make a carbon copy of my rig by looking at pictures.....it'll work differently. | ||
