Default Front SERVO relocation PLATE question Someone who has one please read

Hello I am thinking of possibly mounting my Lithium battery on the front axle using the Axial front mount servo plate for neatness.
my batteries Dimensions (cm):7.3 x 3.6 x 3.3

I would like to know how much surface area is next to the servo for mounting Lithium batteries.?

can you help and just measure yours if you have one?
CM or Inches is fine please

thank you

I'm in the same boat as the last guy, but I use the Vislero 3s 1300mah lipo pack available from cheapbatterypacks.com (I got mine from Holmes) and it is a great fit. Check out CBP, as this pack is about the biggest I'd put in that spot, and the site should have the measurments.

I have the plate on mine and I am running this: 47mm x 18mm x 70mm

http://www.commonsenserc.com/product...roducts_id=212

It is a tight fit but it fits with no rubbing.

We've got this 2000 in a 3S or 2S and on the front servo battery tray it's only 4mm longer than the battery area on the tray. It does work. http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.ph...ro-Pack&cat=82

yes the vislero is the biggest one you can put on there the dimensions are 7cm Length X 3.5cm width x 2cm height. you can play with the height of the batt but 7cm is the max before you will hit the whel when turning heres some refrence pics for you :

Hi again ok great thanks for the measurments.

I also have a Lipo that measures
Dimension: 64mm X 31mm X 18mm

that one maybe my best bet!
thanks for the photo shots of the battery plate with lipo attatched.
how do you like it?
its just a little higher than mounting saddle packs
what do you think of it?

It rules. Having gone with 11 volts I'll never go back. The wheelspeed allows me to run right up stuff I couldn't get up before. Huge difference from my stick packs mounted up high. Do it.

well i like it a lot! because lipos dont weight anything its ok its a tiny bit higher than a sadle pack. the only downfall to mounting any batt on the axle is it might get damaded on a roll over ect. other than that i like it a lot

Don't forget that the offset of the wheels you are running is going to make a difference too.

i just bought the max amps 3 cell 2100 lipo and it is AMAZING. runtime and POWER are OUTSTANDING. i cant stress this enough. i will never run another battery. here is the link http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-2100-111-Pack.htm @ 34mm X 98mm X 24mm its too big to mount over the front axle, but i like that better because then it is protected from roll-overs. THIS BATTERY IS AMAZING
