Default Hot Racing 9t Pinion On The Ax10

Hi all, thought i would share this simple wee mod for those who want to run the 9tooth pinion from hot on there ax 10 without having to grind or cut anything, the cost of the mod is about $1. its just an alloy 1"A-headset spacer from a bicycle shop, you can get em in all colors too inc green if you hunt about, they are also available in 1mm increments so you can get just the right fit!

I see it but what does it do? Does it provide more adjustment for the motor so that the pinion will fit?

it appears that the motor he has is too big in diameter.

Hi folks, the 9T pinion has a closed end due to the small size, this means that it only goes on the motor shaft about 6mm, even with the shortest of motor output shafts you cant get the spur and pinion to mate up, i didnt fancy grinding the output shaft on the goat motor pictured so i came up with this very simple, cheap and neat solution, the spacer pictured is 12mm x 1"dia.
it also moves a heavy component forward on the chassis which is useful , take it easy y'all
