| Edge vs Blackjack
I am getting into comps now and I am running a TCS edge chassis. would the blackjack be a better comp chassis? it seems like it has a bit higher center of gravity then all the other trucks I compete with. I can stand it up sideways on its wheels but I cant sidehill like some of the other trucks without it rolling.

I have run a fair share of chassis configurations, but so far the best I have found is the blackjack. It is amazing cuz it can be set up so many different ways.

I love my BJ. It is one of the most versatile rigs around as far as ways it can be setup and the COG is unreal. Will be running mine for a long time to come......... Here is my build thread My blackjack build, "Finest Insanity" |

IMHO,a TVP chassis and a tube chassis are two toatally different animals. They require a different set up and,at times,a different driving style. If I were to buy a TVP chassis,I'd buy an SW3. The Blackjacks are nice and seem to work well. One good way to decide is to watch some videos and look at build threads of the chassis your looking at. Look to see which appeals to you and looks to fit your driving style. |

i may be a little biased but i love the blackjack... its the most stable 2.2 platform ive driven yet. no other TVP chassis can be ready to run with no part of the chassis above the top of the tires. my blackjack will stand damn near vertical before going over, side hills like a mother****er and obviously it'll stand on its side. heres my blackjack. diesel's blackjack V2.1 Last edited by dieselfuel; 03-05-2008 at 07:13 PM. |

The Black Jack has put fear in the hearts of seasoned veterans around here. Most have seen the light, and are now part of the Black Jack Army. |

I am running my BlackJack at it's first comp this weekend. I like it a lot, everything fits in there so tight, I doubt you could find a more copact chassis. As far as setup, the Edge may as well be a TVP anyway. |

I like mine a lot. Of course I designed it so I might be a little biased as well. |
