2 7/8" to 3 " depending on tires.
3" in the pics

Was a tight fit but this thing is awesome. With some tweaks...should be sweet.

Are those sub-C cells on the axle? Sure looks like it! What kind of mounts are you running to fit those? Any better photos of that? Your crawler looks really nice! "thumbsup" Thanks.

The SWX plates will give you a little more ground clearance at the center of the chassis then the SW3 plates. The SWX plates aren't quite as tall, and they have more upper link/shock mounting options. "thumbsup"

Thanks. This thing really came to life after the switch to the swx.

Sorry took so long to reply
no plates. just zip ties.
just solder your packs together this way with deans pro bars and strap them on.
here's a pic from back in Oct when I made this change and have had absolutely no issues with it at all. Two small zip ties to hold the packs themselves together and then one larger one around the servo plate mounting post to hold them in place

Works pretty good.
I put the offset link ends on the steering linkage to give the linkage a li'l extra clearance.

Hey Bender do you have any like final setup pics?

Cause was looking back to see you finally finished up with and really could not find like a final Rig.

Plus the pics you had up of your rig with the new rear bender 4link plate threw me off a little.

Thanks "thumbsup"

Thanks for the compliment, glad you and your buddies like the chassis. Your rig looks sweet. "thumbsup"

I'll try and snap a few pics of the latest set-up later today for you guys. Not much has changed though outside of shock springs and tires. "thumbsup"

JEracing 02-11-2009 12:05 PM

still a three link on both ends?

my setup is a four link front (custom plate)
and a three link rear with a custom plate and mount.

you couldn't really tell in my previous pics.

I'm still running the 3 link out front, but the rear is 4 linked now with my 4 link plates. "thumbsup"
