Default Tire cleanliness

What are you guys using to clean the dirt off the tires from general use and to make them sticky again before any comps?

I use 2:1 diluted "orange" Greased Lightning and a brush. This gets them pretty much looking new, and makes them somewhat sticky.

I buy this at the Dollar Store. It cleans them like new.
I have Alum rims, and no problem using it. AzVader
tells me it will remove the die from died plastic rims.
The name of it is Awesome.

simple green is the secret. light spray of traction compound will repell some dust that will get on the course.

I'm sure it did, but not a repeated method.
