| My Hustler
I have always liked the looks of the Hustler chassis, and after a fellow clubmember let me drive his, I decided to give one a shot.....with my own custom twist Specs: RCP Hustler chassis(sprung) Axial axles with aluminum upgrades Mamba Max and CCBEC Holmes Hobbies Cobalt 10T R2d JR 8711 servos for steering and digging Losi .9 front shocks, and JPcustoms 80mm rear shocks(soon to be Losi .6's) Custom link setup Aluminum hood, roof and trunk panels One piece stainless steel side and skid plate Losi Claws with NWTrachtech inserts(available soon at TCS) 3 or 4cell lipo Not a lot of room for stickers on a tuber panel Stainless steel skidplate that also incorporated the side panels. Just the right amount of flex for this rig. |

Thanks Pat, I will have to grab 1 or 2 from ya to throw on here. It is much better now, I now have the center clearance I needed the other day, and it has more articulation also, no more torsionacting sprung rig, although with my 4link geometry, I can still float a tire when needed The stainless skid also doubles as a mirror when I need to fix my hair:-P:-P, it needs to be cleaned though, and I can also tell who has been messing with my rig, I can get their fingerprints very easily off there |

Nice rig Nathan! Should be interesting to hear how it does on the rocks compared to a full droop set-up. Any more info on these inserts? Searched here, and all it brought up was this thread. Nothing that I could find on TCS either. |

| Thanks Brian, got some testing in at lunchtime today, and it is working very good now. Quote:
TCS will have the inserts on the site soon, and the website for NWTractech is still being put together, but I'll post up when it's ready to go. Quote:

Yeah, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say......it will be the same outcome as the SW3 on that line.
