I would highly recommend a slipper with these. I have seen them, they are solid steel, weigh a bunch and will definatley not give any. I know they work for the stock transmission setup, but we had an issue fitting them onto a truck with a dig setup, there wasn't enough plunge. Thanks, Matt |

I still haven't broken my axle shafts. I like the cvd sliders though, pretty slick.

If you're running high powered motors, you will still likely break these. They WILL fail at the drive cup where the pin goes threw. I have broken about 6 RCP TLT CVD's with a 5t cobalt. These are the same manufacturer & I expect the same results. Easy fix is to TIG weld the pin in the cup. Problem solved. |
