Default axial/rock rider tube build...

well i just recently finished my ax10 sw2 build with great results so on to the a new project. here is the completed rolling chassis set up so far. it's really only mocked up for now. i still need to tinker with shock mounting some. i made the upper links using 6/32 threaded rod. it has axial bent lower links, rcp 4 link mounts. a novak crawler esc and 55t lathe motor will be going into it as well. i still need to make up some body panels for it.

Looks very good, if your going to keep it black like that, i'd get black panels with few stickers to just have a completely murdered out black rig, looks good how it is though!

Looks good! Are your links painted or is that shrink tubing?

thanks guys... the lower links and steering links are shrink tubing and the upper links are a 6/32 threaded rod with very rugged and stiff nylon high pressure air line. i had the links on another setup and the tubing has held up real well with the beatings the truck went through. once heated they became almost a slick hard plastic feel.

Looks awsome....
ck your axle steer when the chassis flexes.
i spent hours trying to get it out of my rockrider chassis, and could not get it all out... about 1/8 of an in. is still there.
let me know if you get it ALL out. then let me know your link placement..
thanx

alum. panels would cool, and they get great scratches in them
