Default AX10 to DMG DCV/Pro Transformation!

Well I finally got my DCV/pro in the mail today (Thanks Jerry!), and I have started the transformation to a tuber!... Here are some pics of the newly unpacked DCV/pro!

Next will come pictures of the disassembly of my AX10, and the re-assembly of the DCV/pro!

First thoughts, the craftsmanship and quality is excellent, and it's very well built.

After about an hour working on the front end. As of right now, it's all Mockup.

To be added - 30deg Bent Links, delrin front battery plates, custom mount for Receiver and ESC.

Thinking about powder coating it, might just powder coat the side panels a shinny red color and change out all the links to Red, and getting some aluminum beadlocks with Red rings.

but we will see!

I'll have pics up later once I get home, me and KRAWLr4life are setting up droop on it and tweaking it some!

I highly recommend Mayhem Eng. beadlocks. I'm loving my CDP's.

Nice build, I'm interested to see how you like the droop setup.

I'll let you know after RCX how I like it. According to KRAWLr4life - it's the way to go!

I like Mayhem because I can pick and choose some cool colors.

Updates on the chassis!

Sanded and roughed up, deep dark primer to start, wet sand with 360 grit sandpaper, and full can of flat black paint. I would have to say it looks good so far! - if the paint starts to peel off quick or doesn't hold well, it will get Powder Coated flat black.

Coming soon - (Tomorrow some time) - Full rebuild of the rig, with full droop setup, and stripped anodizing from the beadlocks. (To see how I like the chrome on black)

Very nice, flat black looks mean, if you are still looking for new bead locks i would recommend the proline beadlocks, they look great and they are so easy to assemble, i put together all 4 proline beadlocks in the time it takes to put one axial together.

Yeah, I will have to see what I can get my hands on, I'm really digging the Vanquish Products Revolver rims, so many rims, and so little time to pick!
